I like to think of myself as a food explorer, think Indiana Jones of the edible world, but with no fedora and a lot more carrots. When I’m not busy picking, preserving and purchasing kilner I can be found searching Google for my next edible project. Unfortunately the internet appears to be peopled by individuals with sadistic tendencies and SEO skills who are determined to foil my culinary efforts. And I suppose that is why I have decided to start this blog, not only to document my adventures through food but also to provide you with some guidance on what’s worth the effort when in comes to from scratch cookery.
